Artist's Comments

Tam, an original character of mine who belongs to the same concept universe as Aleph. She started out as a mechanic, but became an unwitting, unemployed time-traveller when she followed Aleph into the past.

I was inspired to create her character design by all the recent steampunk-influenced art I've been looking at on DA (I was listening to bagpipes at the time, hence the Scottish flavour)

That is definitely an interesting combination of steampunk with a Scottish flavour. She wil turn out to be an interesting character to learn about :)

Steampunk and bagpipes are some of my favorite things. Ah, she's cute. C: I love the pose and her expression; it seems like she has a sweet personality. [Did I use the semicolon correctly?] I also admire your coloring and attention to detail in the outfit and the gears in the background.

Thanks very much for saying so! :) I like how the dynamics came out in this one, too, although it was sort of unintentional at the outset. Sorta reminds me of all the Tintin I've been reading.
