YAOI CON RULED!!! SO HARD!!!!!

(Yes, that is totally deserving of the shameless capslock, what are you talking about?)

So, I posted all my cosplay photos from the con HERE on lJ.

I have no adequate words to describe the awesomeness that was Yaoi Con 2009.....
"Tres bien", I suppose, for a start
I got to run around in costume all weekend and there was yaoi eyecandy everywhere and lots of very cute, very awesome girls hang out with.
FTW!

There were tons of cool cosplayers around, too, especially APH cosplayers, and I got to be around a lot of really lovely people (you all know exactly who you are).
Made lots of new friends-be sure to keep in touch, my darlings!

Definitely going to this one again

That arts-y place is awesome and addictive and a great procrastination aide and......and.....and there go most of my chances of getting anything productive done in RL for the next little while *waves goodbye*

OMG, how can the summer be almost over already?!?

But....but I need more time to draw all my slashy fanart ideas! Sigh....guess I'll just have to wait-list most of it and draw *verrrryyyy slooowwwwllllyyyy*, in between studying like mad for RL classes.
Shit, I'm taking 300-level chemistry stuffs 5-days a week, starting tomorrow Dude, that's scary!

On another note: the new Star Trek movie is *awesomesauce*!
I waited to see it, 'til it came to the dollar theater and went with some friends, not expecting anything too spectacular (I grew up on Next Generation, 'cause the 'rents were mild Trekkies, and was less than impressed).
Boy was I amazed! The latest reboot of the Star Trek franchise is all that and more!

I have now been converted to the *original slash pair*

Although.....I can't decide which I like more-

Kirk/Spock or Kirk/Bones


*adds both to that long list of slash-to-be-drawn-in-between-studying-madly*

I sent in my pre-registration for YaoiCon today! Huzzah!

I'm so psyched!!!
YaoiCon has been an event I've wanted to attend for several years now and I finally have the time and money and schedule to go

Anyone from DA that might be going?
